A chance meeting with a large UK Marina company offered him a short-term contract to re build a Marina in the Channel Islands, this was an ideal opportunity to take a short break from Captain of Motor Yachts. However, the job was so good he decided to stay and re built and managed the marina over a period of 10 years and also started up his own joinery business which he has now been operating for over 20 years. After completion of the marina Niall was offered a position to go into Superyacht Management and Super Yacht Corporate ownership, which he did for over 10 years while still running his joinery business.

Now Niall spends all his time running his joinery business in Guernsey.
